REGION 7
HEALTHCARE COALITION

ABOUT US
Region 7 HCC serves a 17-county region in northern Michigan, coordinating with hospitals, EMS, public health, tribal health, emergency management, and other healthcare stakeholders to build resilience and manage response.
Working under the collaborative leadership of the Regional Medical Director, Planning Board, and regional committees, the coalition strengthens preparedness through planning, resource coordination, training, exercises, and mutual aid support.
Because Region 7 includes a large, largely rural geography and seasonal tourism population, the coalition puts special emphasis on bridging long transport times, remote resource coordination, alternate care sites, and ensuring rural providers are equipped to respond to incidents of all scales.
